Are you a dynamic AR professional with a knack for streamlining processes and leading teams to success? We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to step into a pivotal role within our Shared Services team.

This isn't just about managing a ledger; it's about driving efficiency, standardising processes, and taking true ownership of our AR function. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and love turning financial data into smooth-running operations, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the AR Team Lead, you will champion operational excellence and mentor a talented team. Your key responsibilities will split across leadership, process improvement, and core financial management:

  • Process Leadership: Standardise 3rd party and Intercompany (IC) invoicing processes to elevate our Shared Service efficiency.

  • Ledger Ownership: Assume full ownership of the entire debtor’s ledger, including the control of accrued and deferred income.

  • Credit & Collections: Oversee new customer onboarding, implement a structured dunning letter process, and maintain strong relationships with debt collectors.

  • Team Support: Guide the team in raising sales invoices, creating project codes, and managing the accounts mailbox/phone line.

  • Financial Control: Handle FX revaluations, intercompany/balance sheet reconciliations, month-end activities, and short-term cash flow preparation.

  • Performance Insights: Track, analyse, and report on operational KPIs to keep the team moving forward.

  • Financial Systems: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other finance systems

What You Will Bring

  • AAT Level 4
  • Experience in sales ledger management and credit control
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Adaptive communication skills to suit different audiences
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

What We'll Offer You

  • Competitive salary + annual company bonus

  • 24 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing 1 day per year up to 29 days)

  • Benefits include: Pension (4%), Medicash, Life Assurance, Electric Vehicle Scheme, GymFlex, WeCare ERP, Perkbox, Taste Card.

  • Ongoing support to enable you to fulfil your role to the best of your potential.

  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.

  • Career growth and development opportunities.

  • Supportive and inclusive company culture.
